Do I need to come already shampooed?

No, all services come with a shampoo.

What is detangling?

Detangling hair is the process of combing through the hair from ends to root. This should be don after taking out braids or any other natural style.

Detangling hair is a service we offer. If hair is not detangled prior to appointment, the fee of $100 per hr will be added. Pre-booking a detangling service is $50 per hr.

Will my press last?

Silk press last longer on hair that is trained to be straight. If it's your first time getting a press, the hair is not guaranteed to last due the hair not being trained, lack of moisture, or damage to hair. We offer an express booster or smoothing treatment to help silk press last longer.

What is a smoothing treatment?

Our express booster/smoothing treatment is a barrier spray that last in the hair from shampoo to shampoo.

Our full smoothing treatment is a 2-3 month non-chemical protector that shields the hair from humidity, frizz, while adding manageability, body and shine. The longevity of this product is only guaranteed with consistent bi-weekly salon visits

What is salon protocol?

Sign in upon entry, check in with your stylist, and confirm service that is being provided.

No parents are allowed to stay in the salon while  services are being rendered.

How old can a child get a silk press?

We start at the age of 5.

What is the youngest you service?

We offer services to kids starting at 2 years old.

At what point does a service be discontinued?

We understand that some kids are tenderhead. We are skilled and patient to handle those type of clients, however, if in fact the child makes it impossible for us to complete the service or release any bodily fluids (ie vomits or urine), the service will immediately be canceled and FULL PAYMENT will be charged.

What is the rescheduling protocol?

You are able to reschedule your appointment one time with your current appointment deposit. If you have to reschedule a second time, you will be forced to cancel and reschedule when ready. New appointment will require a new deposit payment. Deposits are non-refundable.
